Anxiety, Overwhelm, & Burnout

Therapy for individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout. You may appear high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you can never quite “turn off” your mind. This can look like constant worry, overthinking, pressure to keep up, or feeling like you’re always falling short - no matter how much you do.

Areas of Focus

Anxiety & Overthinking

Anxiety often shows up as persistent worry, racing thoughts, difficulty making decisions, or constantly second-guessing yourself. You may find it hard to relax or feel present, even during moments of rest. Together, we will explore the patterns that keep you stuck in overthinking and develop tools to help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control.

Burnout, Perfectionism, & High Expectations

Many high-achieving women hold themselves to incredibly high standards, often tying their worth to productivity or performance. Over time, this can lead to burnout, frustration, and a loss of motivation or fulfillment. In therapy, we will explore these patterns, gently challenge unrealistic expectations, and work toward building a more balanced, sustainable way of living.

Overwhelm & Emotional Exhaustion

When you’re used to doing it all, it can be difficult to recognize when you’ve reached your limit. You may feel stretched thin, mentally drained, or like there’s no space to slow down. We will work to better understand what’s contributing to your overwhelm and create more sustainable ways to manage your responsibilities while honoring your needs.

Nervous System Regulation & Coping Skills

A key part of this work is learning how to slow down and regulate your nervous system. You will learn practical, effective tools to manage anxiety, cope with stress, and respond to challenges in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

Treatment Approach

At Wildflower Mental Health, we take a holistic and nonjudgmental approach to anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout. We explore the many factors that contribute to your experience, including thought patterns, behaviors, relationships, lifestyle habits, and external pressures.

We prioritize creating a space where you can step out of “doing mode,” slow down, and reconnect with yourself. Treatment may incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies, depending on your individual needs.

Our goal is to help you feel more grounded, supported, and aligned, so you can move through life with greater ease, confidence, and self-trust, without feeling like you constantly have to push yourself to the limit.
